Retail giants including Amazon, Best Buy, and Samsung’s official website have launched a new round of tech promotions, featuring price cuts across the entire Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup. The flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra (256GB) has been marked down to $1,099.99, a $200 discount from its original price. This marks the first price adjustment for the model since its launch, bringing it to just $100 more than the more modest S26 Plus.
According to The Verge, the core selling point of the Galaxy S26 Ultra is its unique "Privacy Display," which obscures screen content from side angles to protect user privacy during commutes. The device also features a 6.9-inch OLED screen, dual telephoto lenses, and an integrated S Pen. While the device lacks magnetic charging, it does support the 25W Qi2 wireless charging standard.
Beyond the Ultra model, other S26 variants have also seen price reductions. The entry-level S26 (256GB) is now priced at $799.99, while the S26 Plus has dropped to $999.99. The Verge noted that for users who don't prioritize the privacy display, these discounted models remain highly competitive in terms of specs.
Discounts Across Digital Accessories
In addition to smartphones, audio and smart home devices are also part of the promotion cycle. The second-generation Bose Soundlink Flex portable Bluetooth speaker is now selling for $119 at Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy—a 25% discount that brings it close to its all-time low price. The speaker features an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, an improved button layout, and support for high-resolution AAC and aptX codecs.
In the smart home category, the third-generation Google Nest Doorbell has been discounted by $40, bringing the price down to $139.99. The doorbell supports 2K HDR video recording and uses Gemini AI to provide descriptions of video events, though those advanced AI features require a $20-per-month subscription to the Home Premium Advanced plan.
Other discounted items include the LEGO R2-D2 model, now priced at $79.99, and the Twelve South 4-foot PowerCord, which is down to $14.15. These deals span a wide range of use cases, from mobile productivity to home security, offering consumers a diverse array of options.
