LG has officially announced its latest monitor, the 39GS95QE, touted as the world’s first 39-inch curved OLED gaming display with 5K2K resolution. The monitor is designed to provide high-end gamers with an expansive field of view and an unparalleled visual experience.

Ultimate Visual Specifications

Featuring an ultra-wide aspect ratio, the monitor boasts a resolution of 5120 x 2160. Compared to traditional 4K displays, the 5K2K ultra-wide format offers users significantly more horizontal screen real estate, making it particularly well-suited for immersive gaming environments.

LG has utilized its latest OLED panel technology to ensure deep black levels and vibrant color reproduction. According to PC Gamer, the device not only supports High Dynamic Range (HDR) but also features a high refresh rate to meet the low-latency demands of hardcore esports players.

Thanks to its advanced curved design, the monitor effectively minimizes the edge parallax issues often associated with large-format screens. LG stated that the curvature has been ergonomically optimized to provide a more comfortable viewing experience for gamers during long sessions.

However, top-tier performance comes with a premium price tag. Current market pricing places this monitor at the high end of the industry spectrum, consistent with its positioning as a flagship piece of hardware. Analysts note that despite fierce market competition, LG has successfully secured a technological stronghold in the premium gaming monitor segment through this differentiated ultra-wide OLED offering.
