Leaked images shared on social media suggest DJI is developing a high-end, dual-lens version of its next Osmo Pocket camera.
Reliable leaker Igor Bogdanov posted an image on X showing an unidentified person holding two different versions of the handheld stabilized camera. One of these units appears to be a rumored 'pro' iteration of the upcoming Osmo Pocket 4, according to reports from theverge.com.
While DJI has already teased an April 16th announcement for the next Osmo Pocket, the timing for the pro model remains uncertain. Some rumors suggest the dual-lens version could arrive later in May or June.
Potential hardware upgrades
Technical specifications for the Osmo Pocket 4 Pro are still unconfirmed. However, the outlet reported that the device may feature a combination of an ultrawide lens and a telephoto lens capable of optical zoom, citing information from New Camera.
Bogdanov also released marketing images for the standard Osmo Pocket 4 model. These images showcase various angles of the device and various accessories, including a mini tripod, a carrying case, and a clip-on light.
Hardware improvements for the standard model might include an increase to 107GB of internal storage. A report from Dealabs suggests the camera could also feature improved 4K slow-motion capabilities up to 240fps and enhanced subject tracking.
Price reductions may also be on the table for the base model. The DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Standard Combo Pack is expected to start at €499, roughly $589, which is a drop from the previous version's €539 ($636) price point.
