TechCrunch will host its first StrictlyVC event of 2026 in San Francisco on April 30. The conference, held at the Sentro Filipino Cultural Center, aims to connect AI innovators and founders with prominent venture capital leaders.
Organizers expect the event to focus heavily on the current landscape of AI development and the specific challenges of securing funding for new technologies. The lineup features executives from major players in the venture ecosystem.
Venture capital and AI innovation
Nicolas Sauvage, president of TDK Ventures, will participate in a featured discussion with TechCrunch Editor-in-Chief Connie Loizos. Sauvage will present the case for corporate venture capital, drawing from his experience managing TDK Ventures' $500 million early-stage investment fund.
The program also includes speakers from Replit, a prominent platform in the AI-driven coding space. The event is designed to facilitate networking between the startup community and institutional investors.
Tickets for the April 30 session are currently available through the TechCrunch Events portal. Organizers noted that registration is progressing quickly as the event date approaches.
