Sony has revealed the lineup of monthly games coming to PlayStation Plus for May 2026. The selection includes EA Sports FC 26, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, and Nine Sols, all scheduled to become available to subscribers on Tuesday, May 5.
According to a report from Reddit's r/Games, the upcoming lineup offers a range of genres, from sports simulation to Soulslike action. The release follows the conclusion of the April lineup, which features Lords of the Fallen, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, and Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream.
EA Sports FC 26 will be available on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The r/Games announcement highlights an overhauled gameplay experience powered by community feedback, featuring a choice between 'Authentic Gameplay' and 'Competitive Gameplay' presets.
Subscribers to the service will also receive a special add-on entitlement via the EA Sports FC 26 PlayStation Plus Icons Pack. This content is redeemable through the game's product page on the PlayStation Store during the game's residency period.
Action and exploration in the May lineup
The May collection also features two highly anticipated action titles for the PlayStation 5, with Nine Sols also supporting the PlayStation 4.
In Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, players take on the role of a female pirate warrior in the final years of China’s Ming Dynasty. The r/Games report describes a world plagued by a phenomenon known as 'Feathering' that causes mutations. Players must master various fighting styles and ancient firearms to survive the land of Shu.
Nine Sols offers a different experience, described by r/Games as a 'lore-rich, hand-drawn 2D action-platformer.' The gameplay features Sekiro-inspired, deflection-based combat as players attempt to slay the nine powerful rulers of a forsaken realm.
PlayStation Plus members have until Monday, May 4, to claim the final titles from the April rotation. Polygon reported the announcement of the May lineup on April 29, confirming the upcoming availability of these titles for the service's subscribers.
