Amazon has dropped the price of Magic: The Gathering’s Avatar: The Last Airbender Play Booster Boxes to an all-time low of $122.94. This price point represents a 41% discount from the original list price of $209.70.
The reduction significantly lowers the cost of individual packs. At the current rate, each pack within the box has decreased from $6.99 to $4.10. This price drop is particularly notable because the Avatar set is scheduled to remain in Magic’s Standard rotation until 2028.
The Avatar: The Last Airbender set is a Universes Beyond crossover. Polygon reports that this set provides a "big improvement over the Spider-Man set," citing its "flavorful mechanics and awesome card art" as primary strengths.
Ongoing Magic: The Gathering sales
The Avatar deal is occurring alongside several other Magic: The Gathering promotions on Amazon. The retailer is currently discounting every 2026 Commander precon product, including titles from the Lorwyn Eclipsed and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles lines.
Lorwyn Eclipsed Play Booster Boxes are also seeing a price cut. These boxes are now available for $119.95, a decrease from the list price of $164.70.
While the Play Booster discount offers value, players seeking premium variants may face higher costs. Collector Boosters offer more frequent alternative art treatments, but Polygon notes that individual packs in those boxes can cost close to $40. Additionally, Collector Booster boxes for the Avatar set are currently listed as sold out.
