Study Dates Bow and Arrow Arrival in North America

New research published in PNAS Nexus reveals North Americans adopted the bow and arrow 1,400 years ago. Southern regions switched immediately while northern populations transitioned gradually over a millennium. Kent State University's Metin Eren led the experimental archaeology project.
