NASA WB-57 High-Altitude Research Jet Executes Emergency Belly Landing in Houston

One of NASA’s three specialized WB-57 research aircraft performed an emergency gear-up landing at Ellington Field near Houston on Tuesday morning. The pilot successfully controlled the aircraft as it slid along the runway, bringing the flight to a safe conclusion. NASA confirmed all crew members were unharmed and initiated an investigation into the mechanical failure.
