HCompany has launched HoloTab, a new Chrome extension designed to automate web-based tasks using advanced computer-use artificial intelligence. The tool, which integrates directly into the browser, allows users to automate complex workflows across various websites without requiring technical expertise.

The extension utilizes HCompany's Holo3 model, a high-performance computer-use AI released on March 31. According to a report from huggingface.co, the technology functions by navigating interfaces, filling out forms, and making decisions much like a human user would.

"We built one of the most powerful computer-use AIs in the world. And made it directly accessible from your browser," the company stated in its announcement.

Automated web routines

One of the primary features of HoloTab is its "routines" function, which targets repetitive digital tasks. Users can record their actions in real-time, providing narration and clicking through interfaces to demonstrate a specific workflow.

Once a recording concludes, the system generates a repeatable routine. The software can then re-run these tasks or follow a set schedule to handle data-heavy processes, such as cross-referencing competitor pricing or monitoring job boards.

During the recording phase, HoloTab captures both screen movements and user context to understand the ultimate goal of the task. This allows the agent to manage long-form processes like updating master spreadsheets or managing application tracking documents autonomously.

While the technology is designed for professional productivity, the developers claim the tool is built for a wide range of users. The system handles the underlying vision models and action planning, presenting only the final result to the user.
