Anthropic introduced a new cloud service called routines on Tuesday, enabling customers to run Claude Code automations directly on the company's infrastructure, according to theregister.com.
The service aims to simplify task automation without requiring the use of fully autonomous agent software. Anthropic defines a routine as "a saved Claude Code configuration: a new prompt, one or more repositories, and a set of connectors, packaged once and run automatically."
